Brian Prehn

President

Brian held the role of CFO for Vortex Production Services since employees purchased the company from Strad Energy in 2012 until the fall of 2023.  During that period Brian’s time was ultimately split between overseeing their finance’s and assisting in directing their operations.  With Brian’s change in roles to president in 2023 he continues to focus on the operations of the business as well as looking ahead for opportunities to move the business forward; focusing on the growth of the Insulated Panel Solutions and Mechanical Services divisions into new markets with expanded product and service offerings.

From 2005 to 2012 he held various accounting positions with Strad Compression, a division of Strad Energy. During his tenure with Strad, Brian was instrumental in evaluation and integration of several acquisitions.

Brian holds a CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) having earned his Certified General Accountant Designation in 2010. In addition, he has completed the Executive General Management Program from Queens University.

Brian and his family are active members in their community and volunteer with many community groups and sports organizations.
