Misty Tabert

HSE Manager

Misty has twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and over 10 years experience as an HSE Manager. Misty joined Vortex in 2006 (CH4 Compression at the time). She has been instrumental in developing, implementing, and improving health, safety, and environmental programs for the company and the broader industry since that time.

Misty has extensive experience in Hazard Assessment & Analysis, Disability Management, NORM Identification and Management, Leadership for Safety Excellence, and Transportation Regulations.

Misty has represented Vortex on the Alberta Traffic Safety Committee for two years. In addition, she has been a Certified Health and Safety Peer Auditor to conduct internal and external COR Audits (MHSA) since 2007. She is also a BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) and SafeStart trainer.
